customer markets
Specialized expertise. Real world solutions.
Genesis Polymers SureSpec® Certified Prime Resins, Shell Polymers, and Heartland Polymers are used in a wide variety of markets. We work closely with you to develop custom solutions that deliver positive results for your business.

Building and Construction
Plastic converters working in utilities value efficiency and durability and are increasingly turning to long-lasting HDPE and PP materials for their strength, corrosion resistance, leak resistance, and affordability. Plastic pipes can effectively and safely transport wastewater, chemicals, hazardous waste, compressed gases and more. High-density polyethylene (HDPE) conduit is the preferred material to house and protect electrical power and telecommunications cables. At Genesis Polymers, we can work with converters to address specific resin needs around this large and growing market.

Packaging
From yogurt cups to milk jugs, the food and beverage packaging market continues to grow like never before. We understand the need to keep up with this demand while supplying consistent and high-quality polymers that keep consumers safe. Through our PP, HDPE and LLDPE supply, we can help converters maximize shelf life and meet consumer expectations for sanitary, secure, and sustainable polymer packaging.

Film
Plastic films are used across a variety of sectors such as food and beverage, packaging, agricultural, and more. The use of multiple layers allows plastic films to be engineered in new and innovative ways. Genesis is a leader in the supply and application development of both PE and PP into the film market and can help you reach your business needs and sustainability goals.

Fiber and Filament
Plastic fiber and filament markets are segmented into many large and growing areas. PP demand is growing in non-woven applications such as hygiene and healthcare. It also has many benefits in textile, building and construction, and filtration due to its high tenacity and high strength-to-weight ratio. Genesis can help select and supply the best in class materials for your fiber and filament applications.

Consumer Products
Plastics have long played a major role in many consumer products categories due to their cost-effectiveness, molding capabilities, and ability to produce complex shapes. Plastic became the consumer standard due to their lightweight capabilities and resistance to breaking or staining. At Genesis, we aim to provide high-quality polymers that plastic converters big and small can rely on to create consumer durables.

Housewares
PP, HDPE and LLDPE play a major role in the housewares sector to create storage items that keep items safe and organized. Because these plastic housewares are significantly longer lasting than paper alternatives, they have found many applications both inside and outside the home. At Genesis Polymers, we work closely with houseware manufacturers to help ensure our polymers meet specs and maintain quality throughout the production process.

Automotive
An average automotive vehicle can contain thousands of plastic parts, and that number keeps growing as manufacturers find ways to utilize PP, HDPE, LLDPE and ABS to improve product quality, lightweight vehicle design, and achieve better fuel economy. Genesis Polymers is eager to support plastic compounders and converters to embrace new technologies when designing plastic car parts as well as creating a more sustainable and safer final product.

Electrical and Electronics
PP, HDPE, and LLDPE are key drivers of growth and innovation in the electronics field, as they provide a variety of competitive advantages. Those benefits include enhanced safety and regulatory standards, increased comfort for users, and lower costs for consumers and building professionals. Genesis is dedicated to helping the electrical industry through the supply of high-quality polymers that meet the rigorous and necessary standards for these applications.
