Author Roy T. Bennet once said this about curiosity: Listen with curiosity. Speak with honesty. Act with integrity. The greatest problem with communication is we don’t listen to understand. We listen to reply. When we listen with curiosity, we don’t listen with the intent to reply. We listen for what’s behind the words.

Curiosity is one of the most important—and often overlooked—virtues we possess as humans. It opens new possibilities, sparks innovation, and drives meaningful progress in both life and business.
Curiosity causes us to question. When we question, we seek to understand. When we seek to understand, we often gain knowledge we may not have expected.
Processors are constantly reevaluating whether they’re using the right machines, running optimal materials, and choosing the most efficient, cost-saving programs. We partner with them by asking the right questions and being curious about their specific needs.
At Genesis, curiosity is what drives us forward. We take the time to understand our customers’ goals, equipment, challenges, and the unique dynamics of their business to deliver smarter, more tailored solutions. We want to know what matters most to them—what drives their business, and where there’s room to grow. From there, we can recommend the best-fit resins and draw on deep market knowledge and technical insight from our close relationships with producers like Shell and Heartland.
Curiosity helps us see around corners. It’s how we uncover opportunities others might miss. It’s how we deliver value beyond just price and product. We’ll never stop being curious—because curiosity drives solutions.
What do you think? I’m curious.
