Who Cares?

Leo Buscaglia
As we approach the holidays, I’ve been thinking about one of the most powerful personal traits in our make up as people, the art of caring.
Too often, we go through our daily lives with “tunnel vision” about what we’d like to achieve and what the end result will do for us. We grind away seeking prosperity as a means to an end.
We live in a world where there’s enormous pressure to win for ourselves and our families. The world has become as competitive as ever, with numerous moving parts and complexities. It’s easy to get lost in the minutia, trying to navigate it.
There’s nothing wrong with setting goals and being “all in” to get them done. It’s been often said that the measure of a person is his or her commitment to excellence, no matter what the pursuit.
It’s important, however, to make sure that we prioritize our values along the way. It means nothing to be the top sales person at your company if one of your customers or coworkers is struggling personally, and you’re not willing to help if you can.
It’s empty success if you produce the biggest deal of your career, but you look at the people around you as nothing more than pieces on a chessboard for you to leverage.
At Genesis Polymers, we have created a culture whereby caring is central to our commitment. We care that our customers get their material on time, at a fair price, with good quality. We care that we have the reputation of being a reliable supplier.
That said, we also care that our customers and their families are doing well and are living out their best lives. If they need something beyond what is required in the workplace, we will do everything we can to make it happen. This can and has taken on the form of writing recommendations for their kids, recommending the right doctor at a time of need, etc..
We celebrate the triumph of our customer’s business success, but also the triumph of themselves as individuals, who are invested in their families and their communities.
At Genesis, we also care deeply about the team we are a part of. We support each other in our business dealings, but most importantly, support each other in the good and bad times in our daily lives. In short, we at Genesis are a family. We are “one” with and for each other.
We invite our customers to be part of our family. We have our customers backs no matter what. We will always fight the “good fight” for them.

If you haven’t had the opportunity to work with us, please give us the opportunity to bring you value. You will quickly come to understand our superior level of commitment.
Who cares? We care!!! Let us help take care of you!.
